Dr Ajay Chowdhry graduated in Medicine from Bangalore University, India in 1998 and moved to Australia in 2000. He completed his Masters in Health Sciences from La Trobe University ( Melbourne )in 2002.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Chowdhry has been working at Ontario Family Practice since 2007. He enjoys the variety that general practice brings, and places great importance on holistic and preventative care.
His special interests include Child Health, Skin Cancer Medicine, Sexual Health and Mental Health.

He loves working in Mildura due to its good weather, relaxed lifestyle and ability to spend time with his family. His favourite past times are playing tennis, listening to music , and playing with his boys. He is a very passionate Essendon Football club member.
Dr Nisha Rajee earned her medical degree from India in 2003. She has 12 years of medical experience.
Dr Rajee joined Ontario Family Practice in 2010 prior to this she worked in the emergency department at the Mildura Base Hospital for 4 years.
Dr Rajee is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners; she enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has a particular interest in Women’s Health, Dermatology and Mental Health.
Dr Rajee is married with two children, loves gardening and enjoys spending time with her family.
I graduated from Padua Uni (Italy) in 1982 and then trained in surgery. Afterwards I went to Central Africa Republic and I realised that I preferred general practice.
Worked between Swan Hill and Kerang as a GP since 1990 with a brief interruption in Caboolture (QLD) for paediatrics and emergency in 1995 and Mildura for O&G in 1996. I have a special interest in Dermatology and Musculoskeletal medicine.

“I graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1976. I then worked at Broken Hill Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre for general medical training with extra training in Obstetrics, Anaesthetics, and Paediatrics for the subsequent four years.”
“Have worked in General Practices and associated Hospitals in the towns of Young, Singleton, Quirindl and Parkes for the past thirty-seven years. Working and living in rural communities one learns to develop skills and interests in the many and varied facets of Rural Health. My interests range from obstetrics, anaesthetics, paediatrics, sports medicine, geriatrics, palliative care and all matters, “general practice.””

“I graduated from Monash University Gippsland 2013 with a degree in medicine, having completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science prior to this. I completed my internship in Albury, before moving to Mildura to work in pediatrics and emergency medicine.”

Dr Travis Taggert completed his Bachelor Medicine / Bachelor Surgery from Monash University in 2014 and has spent the last four years working in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit at the Mildura Base Hospital. Since returning home to Mildura after completing his studies in Melbourne, he has also been appointed as a Lecturer at the Monash University School of Rural Health Mildura, involved in the direct delivery of the medical curriculum to medical students in their clinical years. Additionally, Dr Taggert is a Custodial Medical Officer working with Victoria Police, providing on call care to those persons in Victoria Police Custody. Dr Taggert is a founding partner and Director of Clinical Services of Victorian Medical Assistance Team (VMAT) and is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. He is currently undertaking additional training with the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (ACRRM), as he plans to spend the rest of his hospital and General Practice career in Mildura. Dr Taggert enjoys all aspects of General Practice, but has a particular interest in Acute Medicine, Paediatrics, Adolescent Health, Men’s Health and Sexual Health.
